The short answer
Short answer
Hostinger is a low-cost way to get a small business website online, with hosting, a free domain for the first year, email mailboxes and a drag-and-drop website builder in one plan.
The catch is the price structure. The lowest monthly prices are for a 48-month plan paid upfront, and the price renews at a higher rate. Check the renewal price before you buy, not just the headline figure.
- Good fit: a small business that wants a simple site, or a WordPress site, without a big monthly bill.
- Look elsewhere if: you want a fully managed WordPress service where someone else handles almost everything. See our managed WordPress hosting guide.
What Hostinger offers
Hostinger's website plans include hosting, a custom domain, email and building tools. When we checked, you could build with WordPress, PHP/HTML, the drag-and-drop builder or Hostinger's AI tools. (Hostinger web hosting)
On every web hosting plan, Hostinger lists:
- A free SSL certificate, installed automatically
- Malware scanning
- Domain privacy
- IP and country blocking
- Free website migrations, with help from its support team
- 24/7 support and a 30-day money-back guarantee
The website builder page lists 400+ templates on its plans, and says its online store builder charges 0% transaction fees. (Hostinger website builder)
Plans and prices
Prices below are what Hostinger's pricing page showed us on 20 October 2026, in US dollars, for the 48-month plan. Hostinger says all plans are paid upfront and prices are listed without VAT. A sale banner was running, with no end date shown, so these figures may change soon.
| Plan | Price shown (48 months) | Paid upfront | Renews at | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | US$2.49/month | US$119.52 | US$10.99/month | 3 websites, 20 GB SSD, weekly backups, 2 mailboxes per site free for 1 year |
| Unlimited | US$3.49/month | US$167.52 | US$16.99/month | Unlimited websites, 50 GB NVMe, daily backups, unlimited mailboxes free for 1 year |
| Cloud Startup | US$7.99/month | US$383.52 | US$25.99/month | Unlimited websites, 100 GB NVMe, daily and on-demand backups |
Every plan above includes a domain free for the first year. "Unlimited" features are subject to Hostinger's fair usage policy. (Hostinger pricing)
Who it's for, and who it isn't
| Hostinger suits you if... | Look at something else if... |
|---|---|
| You want a simple business site or WordPress site at a low starting price | You want a fully managed service where the host handles almost everything |
| You'd like hosting, domain, email and a site builder in one account | You need predictable pricing without a renewal jump |
| You're comfortable paying for a longer term upfront | You'd rather pay month to month at the lowest rate |
Fix it: step by step
The time guides are rough, for a small business site of up to about 10 pages.
Step 1: Decide what kind of site you need (30 minutes)
A few pages that explain what you do and how to contact you? Our pages every small business website needs guide is a good checklist.
Step 2: Pick the plan by the limits, not the headline price (15 minutes)
Check the number of websites, storage, backups and mailboxes. Then note the upfront total and the renewal price.
Step 3: Choose how you'll build (1–3 hours)
Use the drag-and-drop builder for a simple site, or WordPress if you need more flexibility. If you're moving an existing site, ask Hostinger's team about its free migration.
Step 4: Lock down the account (15 minutes)
Turn on two-step login for your hosting account. Our two-step login guide walks you through it. See also how to secure a small business website.
Step 5: Set a renewal reminder (5 minutes)
Put the renewal date and price in your calendar, so it doesn't catch you by surprise.
